Learn the basic steps of the effectiveness of clearing clutter, how clutter affects you, why people keep clutter, letting go and how to stay clutter free. This class is for the person who wants to open their lives up to new ideas and possibilities.

Design Your Sacred Space

Topic: Through lecture, handouts, slide show presentation of sacred spaces, student questionnaire, hands on project (collage), and an on site garden tour. Students will learn tools to measure their property, draw it to scale, analyze it and what surrounds it. Using 5 element Feng Shui design principles we will develop conceptual drawings in creating landscape rooms and how they relate to the home, the site and the people living there. In this workshop students will learn how to create their own well balanced intimate garden for their home.

Drive-By Appeal / Positive Entryways

Topic: Through lecture, slide presentation, a visualization exercise and handouts you will learn the principles how to make a positive impact for your entry. Learn how to analyze it and find out about yourself through the use of a questionnaire to understand yourself better in order to design your space. We will discuss garden art, water elements and clearing the clutter to help cultivate ideas. Remember the outside of the home is a reflection of the inside. This class is for the homeowner who is selling their home or just wanting to update the appearance of their entry.

Garden Rooms

Topic: Through lecture, slide presentation, student questionnaire, and handouts students will learn the design criteria of hardscapes when incorporating them into the garden. Find out how you and your family tend to use your space through understanding your self through the questionnaire. By creating landscape rooms (ceiling, walls etc.) you will develop a place for contemplation to come home to after a long day. Participants will learn the importance of including hardscape (arbors, patios, decks etc.) into the garden to create balance & harmony.
